I tasked Deedles with removing the bricks and stove parts from the screened in porch. He did nicely, even reorganized the propane summer kitchen appliances. I did have to needle him gently about not sweeping while the corner was bereft of obstacles, but that’s just being 14. He did what I asked him to and it’s progress.
Imma spreading bark mulch over the saturated compost before lunch, then more shingling. I forgot a couple things in town that weren’t on the original list, but we will be able to make significant progress nonetheless
