The first photo, self explanatory. The second is about not just coking, but having the time to make beans.
I discovered Marafax beans this spring, and no batch has ever been the same. Oh, they’re all GOOD, just in different ways.
I was thinking about it having dinner, turkey cabbage and onions grilled on top of cheesy (one actually crispy!) quesadillas, bean drizzle and sauces.
I thought about during breakfast too, sparing you the details, but it’s as if beans are more than a side, and though they aren’t the main, practically act as a canvas.
When I include MY beans (because eating canned beans generally doesn’t work out, ask the people around me…) in a meal there’s just this synergy, this connection of tastes and flavors.
The beans bring their own thing but somehow bridge, unify, tie it all up so deliciously as each element exists but also dances in harmony with its plate mates
It’s awfully fun being able to make breakfast AND dinner, this day thing sure has its perks, beans on the list!!
