It would be kinda fun to do an exploded view and break down the scene, but it’s likely only relative to me. Smooth run last night to 61 and back, napped, researching one more gadget before tackling the process of putting it all back together
The stock shocks are pretty, well, stock (in other words the company makes things okay, but lots of people upgrade things based on how they ride. That stock link that broke, check, being replaced it SUCKED) and while the frunk is off, the shocks are RIGHT THERE. Heard folks talk about replacing them, upgrade.
For a grand? Nope, did some research, they work, and since there is an inexpensive work around, I can install a gadget that allows me to control the tension on the so-so shock, taking it up a notch without dumping a grand. Would I like new shocks, I guess, but not for that hit when existing stock shock = adequate w/easy enhancement.
I do need to buzz to the automotive shop for some parts and materials, and I said out loud to myself, “Nope, not going ANYWHERE today!” My bawesome already offered me a Manchester run (when my ten hour break was up, day reset) and I declined, noting I hadn’t had a beer and inquired to the need level. It was low, check.
About that list, then, for projects? Also low on the need level, (sound of beer opening) no pavement today, thank you…
