That ridonculous plastic piece that busted? It’s replacement has arrived.
There is one for each side, and while I’m “in there” (it’s more like under, stay tuned) the sway bar (which is actually more accurately an anti-sway bar) is getting upgraded.
It’s a big topic of conversation, procedure among Spyder owners. Not every Ryder upgrades, but NONE that do wish they hadn’t.
I splurged and while in the process of pulling wheels to upgrade lights (stay tuned as well) I’ll be installing these Centrimatic wheel balancers. Made in Texas, it’s not a cheap upgrade but, again, anyone that’s done it raves! They improve stability, lessen tire wear, smooth out the ride and increase handling performance (the latter being what the upgraded links and sway bar do)
It’ll be a bit of a quantum leap, so many upgrades at once, and I likely won’t realize it all until spring. Something to look forward to indeed…

And speaking of looking forward to and waiting, my ebike is supposedly shipping in the next week or so. Might have it by the new year. Might. Yah, spring….
