Falling a little behind

I’m back on the schedule in a big way. It feels good to be busy, but it means, ah, you guessed, BUSY!

It’s snowing HARD outside and tonight is going to be a grueling run

I’m stockpiling projects for DownEaster and will be creating a plan to execute the process. I forgot if I showed you busted link for the sway bar. The new ones are here, huzzah!!

But this snow and stuff, makes me think of many things, like having a monkey for a passenger (because most of them live in warm climates!!)

My boss from Crowley fuel is courting me to work full time for him, them. It’s a pleasant prospect but not great timing. The job would start at the turn of the year, as you might recall, exactly when I started with them at the very beginning of this year.

I’m talking with my current bawsome Monday about the reality of a day run, summer schedule etc. I think he wants to keep me, but can only do so much. I’m not asking too much…

Advantages of Crowley would be staying in Maine, bopping around Midcoast, being near the ocean, closer to Cedar. It doesn’t mean moving immediately, but I’d shorten the half hour or so commute. another distinct advantage is that the job is the work out…

Related, I’m gently looking for another place, the folks upstairs are heavy walkers, and the second apartment on my floor is about ready to be rented. Through the walls I could hear gentle music playing in there a few minutes ago and thought, “oh my, that ain’t good” (for either apartment) (that’s an awkward sentence but I’m not in edit mode…)

Options to ponder. Admittedly its a wonderful conundrum to have, job offers and the like. Can’t fast forward five years to dwelling elsewhere for winter, winter is here now and so am I
