Got bitten by a Maine pothole…
This plastic piece is part of a sway bar system that steady the steering. The cheap OEM part is plastic, and was on the list to replace come spring with a better sway arm.
Obviously the link needs replacement ASAP. It’s easy. The sway arm part is a little more complicated, needing a couple feet of clearance underneath to wiggle out the old, and the reverse for the new arm.
Scheming ways to create that elevation safely. Fiddling with LED upgrades at the same time. Little things to keep me going while I don’t have much time or energy but need to be engaged, active besides driving trailers up and down New England highways…
