I’m doing a couplefew new things.

I’ve learned that cleaning vegetables/produce in baking soda is serious business.

I’m transferring my first batch of kraut to the fridge. Past two mornings it’s been part of breakfast (no, I’m not taking a picture of every fermented meal) to great effect, NEXT

I’ll peel the ginger (use a spoon, I used to do a knife peel but it’s both arduous and wasteful) and

Brush the carrots with a non plastic brush. Wait, all that does is include the horrible material…

Brush organic carrots with my bamboo (and something bristle) scrubber

Making matchsticks with the carrots and I’ll process the ginger with a very sharp knife, and start another ferment

That water is a whole lot dirtier after scrubs!!
