Removes the oil filter housing. It’s a curious setup, the housing being in two parts, the filter itself has no cover.
The irony of less material on the filter is present every time I buy a new filter. A plastic drain plug comes to help drain the housing (which is actually unnecessary but I can see the value of the concept, but it complicates things…)
