I ordered some stainless steel fermentation locks. Website had two different versions of what I thought was the same thing. They aren’t. It explains why they offer a jar with one set, and specifically state the other fits on a wide mouth mason jar.
Easy oversight on my part, so I’ll order a jar, or maybe two and another lock. The quality is impressive, much heavier duty than I thought. Both actually, I bought both to compare, they are each equally awesome, but one fits jars made in France.

In fact I’ll be using my own kraut in a Rueben as the ingredients were bundles at Hannaford. Home by dark, but had 4X the load compared to yesterday. Grateful for all that light!!!
