This morning my layers hadn’t even up on me before o donned the purple (FedEx uniform) and zoomed off to Bangor to pick up freight.
Things were spread out as I was covering another route, full day on my day off. When there isn’t enough to get the Friday plane here from Memphis (yesterday on Friday) we do what we can to make it happen!
It was a quick trip to the station, caught up with some of the gang, including a welcome hug, but it wasn’t hang out time.
I didn’t even have time to start a fire this morning so I flipped the switch on the microboiler so I wouldn’t come home to a cold space. As the above picture shows, I’m in Machias after grabbing a couple quick essentials and heading home. Brothy noodle bowl before bed? Prolly
