Allow me to back track

With great interest have I watched this product. Reluctant to shell out the clam$, I’ve kept an eye on its burgeoning place in the knife world.

I spied with my little eye a deal on the real thing (I explored the knock-offs as we live in a world where anything good quickly gets copied) and pulled the trigger. The knife seen with it predates my son, my niece and nephews, even the P~pad. It came from the same store I recently purchased my faucet/sprayer combo in Veazie back when I worked at Jasmines. It’s been across the country, facilitated countless meals and been on myriad adventure. Its companion, also a Victorinox, the paring knife was stolen when my cabin was rolled for metals a couple decades ago. It’s a simple, functional stainless steel knife of decent quality. It’s a hasn’t been “sharp” in a while, and two winters ago took a back seat when the tip broke off during a collision with the floor. (It’s replacement is featured soon)

The simplicity of the sharpening system is stunning, why it spawned knock-offs. A magnet with a couple angles, and a roller with two faces. Above is the diamond face

This is the deburring steel face, it cleans up the recently shaped blade. The blade pictured above is hefty, sharp as y’know what, but it wasn’t a replacement after all. Useful, but wasn’t as functional as the trusty French chef knife.

The Tumbler is all people talk about in reviews etc. it’s simple, it works, I’m elated!

Slice-0-rama!!!
