The electrical system. last night I instructed the new copper grounding wire “Get Grounded!” And set a piece of wood on it, laughing.

Laughing because it’s woefully inadequate, yet better than nothing. I’m going to take the demolition hammer (in the Makita blue carry case to the left my friends are loaning me) and drive a grounding rod in as far as it will go, then use the big clamp (top pic) to connect the ground from the breaker box. I need another length of grounding wire for the second rod, further from the house.
One at a time, then I can decide where the second is going.
This is going to be very noisy and jarring. I don’t feel like doing it, but it’s pleasant outside and needs to get done. It’ll help me appreciate the simplicity of putting the myriad of tools and materials back in order. I considered counting how many tools have been ALL OVER the house for this project, but what really are numbers (to me)?…. It’s the organizing that matters to me
