This sharkbite slipon elbow works, as does the old valve. Unfortunately
I didn’t realize this bronze fitting had a big ass crack in it. It’s easy to replace, but I’m not dissembling it tonight. I’m close, WICKED close, to having running cold.
A couple 1/2” elbows and the hot will be connected, and obviously the pressure tank connector thingy needs replacement.
