What’s that phrase

“Bigger than a breadbox (smaller than a…. Or the other way around??)

(Scald prevention setting possible!)

I don’t have humongous hands, though hardly petite, but this water heater is TINY!

I did A LOT of research, the Stiebel Eltron name kept popping up. German company, been making water heaters for a hundred years, okay, attention garnered…

Doing online research is suddenly horrid, it’s all this AI crud, flooding the interweb with garbage, easily generated, repetitive, shallow, irrelevant. Amazon doesn’t help, care…

Friends recommended a plumbing website they’ve had lotsa success with, that narrowed things down significantly. This little bugger is a powerhouse, but only point of service. It’s heating a sink, or a clothes washer soonish.

Many of these “point of service” heaters are for handwashing. Not enough for what I need. I’ve seen others “bigger than a breadbox” and been like “Whoa, does that have scald prevention?!” (And despite the silence of electric water heaters, could hear those honkers GOBBLING electrons.)

So yah, Europe has a very different approach to efficiency. I’m amassing the puzzle pieces, this little beauty will snug right into the puzzle!

This beauty was halved at my last stop, I repeated the question posed to me at the previous stop, “Do you like salmon?” (Is that a trick question?!”) Guy handed me half a salmon, while we chatted briefly in the garage as the were processing a deer.

Rice is in the cooker, firing up the grill
