I’ve got me some dew drops inside!
The friends helping last weekend, one ever so daintily tweaked the pump handle. I almost did the “Whoa, please, not that, it’s, y’know…” but her hand was so gentle and inquisitive I didn’t have to. Call it timing, coincidence, call it what you will. I’ll favor the blessing of her touch, the old well is active.
Hardly full, don’t you get all wound up now, but there is clear water in the bottom (maybe a foot over the inlet), COLD and clean. It emphasizes how I’m working to configure and optimize both sources.
Earlier tonight I did a bunch of homework on the inbound electric tankless water heater, almost ready to purchase instal supplies, almost.
It’s a complicated 3D puzzle involving water, metal, electricity, fire (propane torch) and liquid metal (solder) and further complicated by a small space and the goal to repurpose pipe and pieces. It’s evolving, at least I can do some dishes in the meantime (as flurries turn some of the landscape white)!
