Today wasn’t “cold” by my standards, but there was the tiniest crust of ice on some rain buckets as I set out at 9:30a to catch up from yesterday. I donned my reinforced merino fingerless gloves and a merino neck tube warmer gator thing. Turns out both stayed on all day while the weather was gyrating. Squalls would encompass the expanse…
At one point in the early afternoon, heading east through Trescott, the roads were suddenly dry and golden sunlight blazed. My mirrors told a different story and it wasn’t long before the tail wind brought the chaos. Fall is flexing muscle, ushering the next season.
The spin down sediment filter arrived and I’ll fiddle, but likely not instal anything. The weekend is but a day away and I want to cinch it up in one run, hopefully!!
My tax bill is in the pic too, I’ll get that taken care of ASAP and savor having paid for the “renting of my land” from the state.
