The extruding portion

Of the pitless adapter was a breeze to instal. I had the right drill bits, and the drop-T made it effortless. It took some time to tape the wire to the pipe. I learned that it’s just over three hundred feet from the well to the end of the driveway!

No pics of that rainy process, but I doubled back with the top end to instal the pitless adapter connection. It’s a simple and brilliant design, and actually holds the entire pipe wire and pump team from descending to the bottom of the well while creating an avenue for the water to leave the well below grade, in this case frost line.

Drop-T threaded onto the bottom, male barb fitting for the poly pipe threaded onto the top.

The tippy top, and the bottom of the system (but it’s still 140’ to the bottom of the well!)

I LOVE this pump, but I’d be tickled if I never saw it again!!!

SHOOOOOP

It’s incredibly anticlimactic, all that work and there’s just a red end cap (visible lower left)

A little snake of a wire pops out but will get buried with the pipe to the house (that I’m relaxing indoors and impossible to take a picture of!)

If there was more daylight I’d be working on the trench. I guess I’m make some dinner instead

While tidying the mess indoors…
