From the blue chair bottom right to the piles of parts above the fire stool on and near the bench. It’s amazing the power and influence fire/heat have on things.
That’s almost too Capetian Obvious to say, but I’ll state my case. Deep in the core (the secondary burn chamber where the air from the secondary intake mixes with wood gas) hasn’t seen the light of day since its construction (almost three years ago). Yet, just the presence of heat, combustion and flow degraded the ceramic fiber board. (I’ll spare you pictures but it impresses me!)
Sure, fires burns things down, consumes things, even propels projectiles, but to think that just fire itself, the flames of what’s been gasified and combusted have an an impact.
It’s similar to “air is nothing” until you see a kite lift, sailboat move, the wind almost knocks you over. Things don’t need to be a solid to affect the physical world!
Anyways, this allows me to move on with insulation of the stove, create a more efficient burn chamber
