
The projects that “present themselves”. I trimmed the Mulberry Monday morning, in the event the drilling team would show up. They did, and it made it possible for them to tuck the drill into position (without removing the tree entirely).
The water truck nudged a big stone I removed from the yard with Porter WAY back in the beginning. It was a defining piece of the yard, driveway. It’s a stone worthy of avoidance.
The nudge exposed its underbelly just the teeniest bit and I set me to thinking. I got the blocks and mega-crowbar, scooted it back a few feet.

One of its neighbors found a home at the lower corner of the replaced ramp. The moss likely won’t last, unless I pop some borage in next to it providing shade. Come to think of it, I’ll plant some now!

This is how I make my peace with Earth after drilling a few hundred feet down into her bones…
