As it becomes more widely known, to me the obvious, plastic isn’t doing as many good things to us and Earth as it provides convenience for humans. Plastic use is essentially equated with consumerism, it’s become the standard. At what cost we can’t yet fathom.
As I’ll never rid my life of them, I’m taking steps to lessen my use/exposure. The silicone food containers pictured above are, to me, an exciting step.
So far I’m impressed, and they stand up as advertised. Xomoo is a company that had good reviews. Hoping my experience will be!
They boast a myriad of uses (two of which aren’t present upta camp) in a range of impressive temperatures (+200* to -50*).
Weeding out plastic with viable alternatives. I keep telling Deedles, “Your generation is going to see a lot of silicone and bamboo/hemp products!”
