Two seconds later

(on Saturday)

The sky opened up so I adjusted position

Ain’t no thang, just the 11th Saturday in a row! En route to camp but had to run some errands

Needed food for the hummingbirds and wanted some ammo for the new (to me) Ithaca 12 gauge shotgun.

An all American day. Up before I wanted to be, organized something’s for camp, made a Smocha last minute and hit the road for Eastbrook.

Tree Stump Leather and the owner deserve more attention than I’ll give it here, but I spent an hour chatting with an amazing person, learned a little about my new gun, pit stop in Franklin to poop and grab a slice, then hit up Walmart for some ammo.

Instead of rushing to camp, I just poked along route 1, got some groceries in Winter Harbor and sat by the shore. Poked some more and fueled up in Machias and debated a late lunch at Mason’s across the street but just wasn’t feeling it.

It was nice to “get home” and I cooked, learned more about the 12 gauge, I’m in awe of it. Definitely a “don’t make ‘em like they used” to thing, it’s an oldy but goody
