I collect things throughout the day. This meetup allows me to keep delivering while the “outbound gets shuttled” back to Bangor to be scanned, loaded into cans and then driven to Portland to load onto the Memphis plane
Yes, we used to just fly stuff out of Bangor (and to, more on that in a sec) but all that’s cost saving practice decisions are made on a deferent level.
Case in point, today’s Memphis freight was en route, stopped at a DOT inspection and GROUNDED. The truck didn’t pass the inspection, our freight arrived at 5pm instead of the already late 10:30am.
