I’ve had a few long days on new routes. It reiterates a saying I share often, “this is the biggest little state I’ve lived in!”
Not holding my breath but applied for a job on campus at UMM (the University of Maine at Machias isn’t huge, but it IS)
And then saw this whilst doing my after work headlines scan
I won’t go into the headlines that accompanied the pictures, good rabbit holes each, what moved me was the skin on skin. Healthy relations, humans doing natural loving human things.
Noteworthy is that a child is holding “a hand” (a pinky) and someone is holding an elder’s hand. It’s just news, it’s just passing, it’s just a couple images, but like a day of sunshine during spring, seeing this warmed me!
