In it goes

For the second half, now ringed with lil taters. I flipped the top roast, lowered the rack a notch, boy does the apartment smell good!

I have it a sear (sort of) outside with junior grill. It’s not all that hot, being on the low 20s doesn’t help. It’s cozy inside!!

My landlord on Somerset St was an old school chef, and he did things with bigger hunks of meat. It was inspiring, so I’m learning as I go. (This is a four plus pound Angus top roast.)

The to and from Hannaford was practically horrible. I was properly dressed, the weather was pleasant albeit cold and going into the wind there. The city has largely abandoned keeping the sidewalks clear so there was a lot of trudging and slogging, along four lanes of traffic.

It was good to be outdoors but I’ll do something different next time (likely not next weekend in all the coming snow, heavy eyeroll!!)
