Of golden milk, or in proper terms, haldi doodh.

Like, “dude, pass the haldi milk”

Haldi in the Indian language is turmeric. Decades ago a friend graced me two jars, Haldi and Mirach. I labeled them that night, his mom’s special blend. “All you need for curry is two parts Mirach and one part Haldi.” Ask the Beebe’s of Holyoke St., I made “curry” and their napkins were never the same!

Cumin and turmeric, endless varieties. Tonight I’m embarking on the beverage version, no it isn’t liquid curry, but hardly far off from ‘Merican standards…
