Grass fed chuck roast experiment. Seared it (gently as I was indoors and didn’t want to set off any smoke alarms) and cooked it covered, then chopped and dressed veggies for the second half.
I’m watching a docu-series called Rethink Meat. It’s about much more than meat, it’s very profound and essentially addresses our food system, its failures (obesity, diabetes, CAFOs and toxins) and offers balanced and researched alternatives.
I shared a link with Flipper and she replied with Fat Fiction, a very similar documentary. The truth is out there, and reinforces why meat and veggies works for me!!
Spoiler, fat doesn’t not alter insulin levels…
