Last year I started taking chain maintenance seriously, better late than never!
The stock chain on MINCX is over a decade old, still not high in miles, but more so with wear and tear in less than ideal conditions, maintenance. The sprockets similarly, aren’t spent, but putting on a fresh chain begs sprockets. It’s sorta like putting new shoe laces on old shoes, sorta. I could come up all sorts of allegories and metaphors, but you’re already bored regarding chains…
btwxd’s chain isn’t as old, but dirt bikes get, well, dirtier!
Performance won’t be hugely improved, it’s an up keep thing. I have the tools to make it happen, come spring, oh COME SPRING!
