Soon after getting W3LLY home the rear hatch began malfunctioning. I didn’t blame it on past owners or the seller, these things happen in cars with a decade behind them. In fact this car is the same year as Hedwig, but been babied.
Temperature and angle of park was a factor, but after some research, it became clear the auto open function wasn’t busted, the struts weren’t doing their part.
Now they are, snazzy! (all it takes is a flat blade screwdriver or similar pry device to pop both ends of via a clip, whoop, NBD, NOBIGDEAL, thank you University YouTube…!)
