Of the five batteries, only btwxd’s is dead. I’m pondering why while exploring replacement options. Lithium batteries are more expensive but a mere fraction of the weight. For a “light is right” motocamper, it’s a bit of a no brainer…

I’m in the process of researching chains (and sprockets), back to the “stock is crap” scenario.

There’s a wide variety of chains, that even come in colors. The color isn’t a big deal to me, it’s quality without having to break the bank having the best.

The Rally (Deedles’ bike) is still practically brand new mileage wise, but if we are upgrading, doing two at once makes sense from a standpoint of practice and not waiting until the crap stock fails, compromises the sprockets.

Both chains on MINCX and btwxd have sticky links, stock chains with decent age and wear. Prolly won’t tweak the sprockets on MINCX, but btwxd is likey getting a full drive train upgrade.

If I get supermoto (sumo) wheels (rims and tires) full YES for more reasons than you want to know!
