I had a delivery up behind the Lucerne Inn. I made note of the little park a month ago when I had a similar delivery.
Nice spot to celebrate the passing of the year, lunch break, a good job!
I’ll be on another/other routes soon, with an abundance of staff, I think the goal is to lower/eliminate overtime, spread the work out.
We breezed through peak (that might be a slight exaggeration, it wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t calamitous!) and things will simmer until the summer folk show up! There will be lots of deliveries before then, and I know of a sweet lookout for a break. Route 1a down there in the woods is busy/loud, but up here the air is fresh (and mild today!)!
