A little nesting

Goes a long way, and illustrates how much I excel at it, and look forward to having some time to get into it. Yesterday/Monday was still full blast delivery mode, at 5:30p someone came and grabbed my remaining stops south of 1a in Holden. I was home just before ten.

Today things are mired by a few fresh inches and later start. Midweek is offer pushed back to 9:30a versus the 8a Monday (in part due to moving weekend freight earlier). Yesterday we received a broadcast to start at ten, management will cite the weather, its loose knowledge they just don’t want to pay workers. Profit model and all that.

The last time 9:30 was pushed to 10a our manager apologized but pointed out it wasn’t his call. Whatever.

Tomorrow I am prolly not getting in the car. There are loads of things I could be doing, but a dose of nothing is what I need. The repetitious and multitude hours in the vehicle are taking a toll, not in a bad way necessarily, just feeling tight and mildly frazzled. (Reminiscent of why I left Crowley but fuel peak is ALL winter, the colder it is, the higher it is)

I’m building (or at least starting the project of making) some slider drawer box thingies for clothing that scoots under the bedframe. It’s lovely back on the Purple, and I don’t need white noise as the steam heat makes a racket, albeit sporadically. (I’m also not connected to the internet for free so sorting though out. I think I’ll keep it that way to encourage less use of it). The back bedroom is VERY quiet though!
