We were chatting after dinner, doing some “grateful” and had desert and coasting when the power went out. It was about 9:30p and we basically brushed and went to bed.
Three hours later it popped back on, YUP, thankful for my co-op electricity providers! I had to turn a couple lights off and I stoked the fire, slid back into bed for 8 more hours of magic!

Processing this lovely meal was on the horizontal agenda. Deedles took a picture in order to juxtapose his girlfriend’s plate, comprised of bread, mashed potato and a couple sprigs of asparagus. She’s a carb gurl!
I had fun cooking on the new stove, and pulled off the turkey tenders without an oven. The gravy was chicken based, making do with what was on hand. It was fun to make, share, and eat! (Ovenless creamed onions to boot)
If you’re reading this, I’m grateful for YOU. Flex your gratitude, it’s a state of being, exercise it and shine!!!
(P.S. Admittedly I’m not grateful for the snow as it is the final nail in the coffin for the motorcycle season. Onward to 2025, so much to be grateful for on THAT horizon, not to ruin the moment though…)
