Christmas and New Year’s fall in the middle of the week. That’s poopy for scheduling, time off. Long weekends are preferable, and both fall in the middle of the week this year.
I’ll get the days off, paid, but they will be isolated “holidays” sandwiched by work. So that’s how the cookie crumbles this year. That’ll make savoring a four day weekend with Deedles that much sweeter!!
