Whilst scouring

The house for a particular tool, after today’s episode of ManLego (I guess a photo is in order

) I slid a stick of incense into the firebox. Immediately after lighting it I held it up to both air intakes and the smoke appeared to get sucked INTO the stove.

I stuck it in there proper, watched and waited, no smoke oozing from spots, went up to the chimney top and delicious smelling smoke was wafting up the flu.

The irony is that the tool I’m looking for is to fasten the final link, the last, the sections of pipe that will connect to the bench/stove and whisk the gases up Up UP and away. A “same but different” tool will suffice for the task, in the meantime I’ll pull the incense out of the stove so as to enjoy it in the house, it proved its point already!!!
