I fabricate my own “bricks” of ceramic fireboard. I’m adding a layer to the top of the core to compensate for the higher glass top. It will also (mostly) compensate for bringing the firebox floor up.
The secondary burn chamber (upper right hand corner) remains the same dimension. The hot flu gases rise through the lower right hand opening, running counter clockwise across the top of the core/bottom of the stove top chamber.
I will cut that piece now, after some decisions are made about making it all fit, keeping things shoot, supporting and sealing the stovetop….
