Looking for work looks like…. As the ad is over a week old, I thought I would call and check in, see what’s up. The position advertised has been filled, but a driver that has a route to The County just gave two week notice. I’ll be there Monday morning 9a to talk about it, offer my services.
I don’t want an hour+ commute (though around here that’s hardly abnormal) so exploring other options, like
There are a number of smaller efficiencies and small apartments in Bangor proper, but run more, in buildings with other tenants/land lords and “in town”. It feels good to have options regardless. If CDS feels like a good fit, I’d be looking for a place to crash midweek, home on weekends…
I’ve taken an adjusted stance to work at Mason’s, I still care, but my heart isn’t in it. There are some (not the majority) good people, but the lack of professionalism, over abundance of nepotism/favoritism and negativity make it so I just can’t go in with my all. Reflecting the downturn in business, my hours have dwindled to the 20s and that’s barely enough to make ends meet. I don’t think I’d mind working half time if it was fun to go in and I felt like I was a part of a team…
