This here spool

Supported the lil grill (seen just to the right) when I lived at The Loop. It’s been sitting on a desk (that I’ll likely chop up and burn this winter, it’s similarly in the way like the metal one I just hauled off sitting mere feet away in The Borch) and now it has life breathed back into it. It’s been idle a couple years…

It’s no longer in the way, and has a valuable job! As it was bone dry, I socked some water based clear coat to it, polishing off the dregs of the gallon, HA, one less thing in the house after put to use! It will help the spool weather the elements on the screened in porch. It soaked the material up like nobody’s business, so it won’t get as gunky/be easier to clean now that it’s in the outdoor kitchen.

The burner was sitting on the milk crate pictured with tools on it (minus the cabinet plywood top it was fastened to and was beginning to be unsightly). It’s at a better height now.

Moving things around, lotsa lil bitsa improvement, pecking away at stuff
