The 2025 registration sticker is white so doesn’t really pop on the white plate. The town clerk only had one more moto tag. She gets batches of five, this is my third this year.

Had a very nice poke down the new asphalt into town for a fillup and now doing a load of laundry. I’m distracting myself from the pit in my stomach that shows up when Deedles leaves. Good excuse for a motorcycle ride, get out of the house.

He starts his senior year after working Labor Day, and while he’s ready, we talked about how quickly things change. He said “I don’t feel like a senior, but then I see the freshman. I mean I wasn’t a small freshman, but…”
