And got LOTS done. The two head honchos were off in Bangor at a well deserved concert in Bangor. I was leaving as the evening holiday crush was coming on, BYE!
Things flowed nicely all day, balanced by prepping and filling holes on the pizza station while spinning dough and putting out good pies.
As the night crew arrived, there was a vibe shift, and while it’s a balance between compassion and tolerance, it’s sad to see people that just don’t like work, life, themselves.
A new saying that I came up with the other night is taking hold, “It’s not my fish to fry, but I have to swim with it…”
It’s gray and wet out there this morning, a welcome and necessary soak. Too bad if the weather ruins your holiday weekend plans, accept allow feel and be part of the positive solution…
I’ll be in for another day shift today, assured that my impact will be noted, welcomed!!
