With temps in the mid forties, I took the Rally out for an hour, legally. Lots of trees down, mostly cleaned up. I did have to turn around at one point , the connector to the NDBZ was blocked. Icy puddles, the sand is starting to soften, quite fun!
Hosed the bike down, blew dry and wiped (the latter once inside) and set about cleaning the chain. Finally need to take up some slack, hopefully done with Deedles (very important lesson, maintenance!)
I shed my outer layer and upper armor, but I’m still rocking my “ballet boots” hours later and will doff them after dinner (maybe?). My ADV boots are SO comfy, and it’s not just “Motorcycle DressUp Time” I actually used, rode in them!!!
Life IS better motorcycling…
