An impasse, time for a beer…
I had to do some serious problem solving to drain the radiant floor heating system. The fluid in it is nasty, I’ve had five gallons of glycol on standby for almost a year.
After getting it flushed (REMEMBER, drain your water heater yearly to remove deposits from the heating process!!!!!!) and replacing the vast majority of the fluid, reassembly has been thwarted. The reservoir developed a crack, no bueno.
I can’t use a round reservoir because of the way the in and out pipes are located. If I can’t find an adequately shaped replacement, it’s solder time…
