Has the notable disadvantage of rain and ESPECIALLY washing fluid (on the driver’s side as per the wiper sweep) getting into the windows when cracked.
“Get what you pay for” solution with WeatherTech window deflectors.

There are less expensive options galore. The floor mats I installed from the same company impressed me. These window deflectors are incredibly well designed and fit like a glove.

The rear deflectors “require” a clip inserted between the window gasket and outer molding. Maybe it’s the cold, maybe it’s meant for other models, but I was able to sneak the deflector in place without them (they just don’t seem to fit and I’m NOT ripping the gasket using too much force!), windows open and close normally.
The yellow strip barely visible is tape covering the adhesive. I’ll shape the deflectors by leaving them installed, and tomorrow when warmer, peel the backer and affix the deflector.
The front deflectors fit so well no adhesive is included, necessary. Harder to instal as there is a bend towards the front, but snug as a bug once fiddled between the window gasket and outer molding.
It will create some drag, will lower the streamlined design’s efficiency, but I’m not thinking it’ll be noticeable. Back to the V6, the car is a sexy tank, sure footed, stable, planted and “heavy” for a “small car”. What matters more is not getting wet with the windows cracked! (This project has been on the radar for a while, I was researching options for Hedwig. The same design flaw annoyed me regularly…)
I miss the sun/moon roof on Hedwig, allowing fresh air to mix from the top middle. The Venza doesn’t have that option, so side window mixing necessary, let’s keep the wet stuff out!!!
