Repositioned the drain hose from the sump.
The hose was coming through the vent up and to the right of where the hose now runs. It’s lower so more water leaves the building, and drains smoothly.
Today I filled the trench after a quick seal where the hose exits through the basement wall. I positioned a rather large stone I found digging, makes a marvelous landing. I’ll show it to you once rinsed from the rains.
Then I moved a bunch of gravel and pleased at the improvements of the driveway. This heavy rain will wash the sand into the compacted mix, and water won’t be standing as I’ve created drainage. One landlord referred to them as channels, apt but not the word I had in my head.
