Get out for a ride Saturday before the rain (goodbye snow…)
I don’t know if I’ll undertake installing this new “oversized” brake rotor. The simple physics of it are this, the rotor is larger in diameter, therefore has greater mechanical advantage to slow the rotation of the wheel, increase braking ability for the front of btwxd.
Rear brakes do little once braking has been initiated as the weight of the bike moves forward, so I’m focusing on the most practical upgrades. I have a steel braided brake fluid line as well.
I’ll examine the practicality of replacement tonight after work, retrieving the Venza. It’s not a bad walk considering…
The map app doesn’t realize there is a walking path the entire way, it’s not that it shaves off time, it’s that I don’t have to walk next to cars!!!
