The progress

The gravel pile isn’t close, but it’s not in the way. The goal was to get exercise, the bonus is a better driveway! Working the gravel down into the mud ensures a proper connection, lasting fill

I didn’t think I would get the nearest right puddle filled, but just went shovel full at a time. I drained the big puddle on the left, and the right puddle into that. Key is getting water off the road…

Next on the list as it’s supposed to remain above freezing today. Note drainage channels.

Got the (physical) loan (check, including another for excise tax for registration) this morning, Hedwig goes bye-bye tomorrow morning!!!
