I turned the bed 90* making the tiny closet on the right more accessible. Mattress pad controls at the foot, the preheat is crucial with the thermal mass of the Purple. The bed needn’t be warm/hot when I slither in, it just can’t be cold or it saps my warmth. (I close up the covers when the heater goes on after airing things out all day, Nevillita and Neville romp around in the meantime)

I’m a huge proponent of “the head blanket” now, discovering it upta camp. As I have less natural insulation on my dome, and keeping it “summer short” for the kitchen season as I don a hat ALL day, having a cozy layer from above is very useful, cozy.
