The amp fits almost too perfectly in the little cabinet thing, the turntable sits atop it nicely, I was getting things connected, only to discover I don’t have the power cord for the phonograph. Whoopsie.
I can, however, connect the TV to the amp via an optical connector that was connecting the TV and DVD player. Okay…
The TV came with the cabin and is already connected to the Wi-Fi (which is free here, part of the rent) and has a Netflix account logged in (Ooooooh!) so I watched the new Dune movie, cool, stayed up late.
This morning I figured out how to navigate around in YouTube, and, AH you guessed it, I can stream Buckethead! There are all sorts of mixes and pikes (aka albums) to explore.
And yah, the stereo sounds GREAT! Making some chicken stock and thawing some other things for some grubbing at home. I do miss cooking at home, but sure is nice being fed at work!!!!
