Banana Plugs

Installed on the amp end of speaker wires, labeled as A & B, L & R. Unfortunately, and I forgot this and ordered plenty of regular banana plugs (the things in my left hand), my snazzy Polk Atruim 5 outdoor speakers take 90 degree plugs. Whatev, those are $8/speaker, so at four, taking a pass. The plugs greatly simplify connection, but I’ve been doing it old school for forty something years, no big….

I’m jamming some, you guessed

Buckethead, and faced with the reality that once the amp is set up (which will take a couple minutes) I only have a turntable and records to play through it. I’ll get the necessary connectors tomorrow, but it’s going to be an interesting shift.

The soundbar, visible below the wires with plugs is Bluetooth, hardwired to the TV, and sounds quite good for “a speaker”. It was all the stereo we had/needed at The Loop on Birch Point in West Bath. My current space is not only a little bigger, but NO party walls.

Yes, the set up I’m about to activate could be “troublesome” to neighbors, but I shan’t be going there (wink…) even though it’s Friday night (payday no less) and I’m having my second beer. The Harpbin isn’t completely dry yet. Not drinking during the work week, easy-peasy. I’m “letting loose” with a couple beers, wooooo, no big…

Epic late October weather tomorrow, I might ride all day, certainly part of it. There’s some dirt in Phippsburg I’m itching to putt around on. Taking Hedwig to work Monday in the rain….
