Meant going to town so I COUD move in. Secured the fundage necessary to do so at the credit union, depositing my last check and acquiring a credit card, post fraud details.
Deedles’ rally needed a cleaning before winter tucking, sure, I’ll take it out, errands, explore both the bike and various ways home. Fun, capable bike, less a blank canvas than my crf250L (almost same bike with a little “less” going on) but plenty of room to, uh, paint the BDR picture?!
Boring motorcycle stuff for most, but taking the Rally out reminds me of my bike when I brought it home just over a year ago. Like I said, fun, capable in a naked sorta way, but we aren’t going into the dirt quietly.
To me, and technically it’s still my bike, it needs a 1) better seat 2) heated and 3)better hand grips and a 4) better back shock. Don’t get me wrong, today was a fun ride, memorable even. It’s like taking a road trip in a crappy car, you get there WOO and won’t ever forget it.
Would it have been better in a more comfortable car? duh…. The Rally is hardly a “crappy car” but the room for improvement is the one we are inhabiting
