Since it is the only constant….
I was surprised and ultimately pleased to find Tajin in Machias. I WAS looking for some chutney, that didn’t happen.
The (plastic) bottle is a similar shape, just a little bigger (than I’m used to, not saying it’s new, as I’m unable!) and the green top. Well, they are on board with lowering their footprint, it means the bottle is made of recycled plastic. Still plastic, but a move in a better direction.
It also has more than three ingredients, of which I shan’t rant. It’s not like reading the ingredients on a Taki bag! I’m wondering if the additional ingredients are for clientele further away, ahem, extending shelf life a wee.
Nonetheless, what a treat to find locally. It was the last bottle, likely due to the influx of workers on the blueberry barrens, involved with harvest.
Now I’ll make some salsa!!!
